Your neighbourhood handyman

The small jobs around the house, finally done.

Leaky taps, doors that stick, shelves that lean, the flat-pack still in its box. Send one email, get an honest quote, and I'll have it sorted — tidy, and done right.

Rates & jobs

Honest, flat-rate work. No surprises.

Pick the visit that fits the job. You'll get a firm price by email before I lift a finger — and if a job runs short, you pay the short price.

The Quick Fix

$89 / first hour

One nagging thing that's bugged you for months. I show up, fix it, and you get your Saturday back.

  • Leaky taps, running toilets, dripping seals
  • Squeaky or sticking doors & hinges
  • A shelf, rail or picture hung straight

Flat-Pack & Mounting

$129 / per piece

The wardrobe still in the box, the TV that needs to go on the wall. Built solid, levelled, and the cardboard taken away.

  • Flat-pack wardrobes, beds, desks, units
  • TVs & shelves anchored to the right fixings
  • Packaging hauled away when I leave

Bigger project in mind? Email me a couple of photos and I'll send back a plain-English quote, free.

How it works

Three steps. No phone tag.

Booking a handyman shouldn't be harder than the job itself. Here's the whole thing.

1

Tell me the job

Email a quick note — a photo helps. I read every one myself and reply within 24 hours, often the same day.

2

Pick a time

I send back a firm price and a couple of slots, mornings and weekends included. You pick the one that suits.

3

I sort it out

I turn up on time, do the work properly, sweep up, and you only pay once you're happy it's done right.

A note from me

I started WeekendFix because I got tired of hearing the same thing from neighbours: “I just can't get anyone to come out for the small stuff.”

So that's exactly what I do. No call centre, no being passed around — you email me, and you get me. Twenty years on the tools means I'll tell you straight whether a job's a ten-minute fix or something worth a proper quote.

I'm just getting WeekendFix off the ground, so right now I've got room to take real care over every booking. Treat me well and I'll be the name you save in your phone for years.

If it's not right, I come back free. Every job carries a 30-day workmanship guarantee. Something not sitting right? One email and I'm back round to put it straight — no charge, no fuss. And you never pay a penny until the work's done and you're happy.
Good questions

The things people ask before booking.

What kind of jobs do you take on?
The small-to-medium stuff most trades won't bother with: leaks, mounting, repairs, assembly, draught-proofing, odd carpentry, that ever-growing list on the fridge. If you're not sure, just ask — I'll tell you honestly if it's me you need or someone else.
How fast can you come out?
I reply to every booking within 24 hours, usually sooner. From there it depends on the week, but I keep mornings and weekends open precisely because that's when people are home and the small jobs pile up.
Will I know the price before you start?
Always. You get a firm, flat price by email before I book anything in. No hourly meter creeping up, no “while I was here” surprises. Materials are passed on at cost — you'll see the receipt.
What if I'm not happy with the work?
Then it's not finished. You don't pay until you're satisfied, and every job is covered for 30 days — if anything I touched isn't right, I come back and fix it free.
Which areas do you cover?
I work right across the local neighbourhoods — if you found this page searching for a handyman near you, you're almost certainly in range. Pop your suburb in the email and I'll confirm straight away.
How do I pay?
Whatever's easiest once the job's done and signed off — bank transfer or card. No deposit to book, and no payment until you've looked it over and you're happy.

Got a list? Let's knock it out.

One email is all it takes. Tell me what's bugging you around the house and I'll send back a price and a time — no obligation, no pressure.
